The Transportation Systems Management and Operations Performance Dashboards are a set of performance dashboards that are intended to provide an at-a-glance view of critical aspects of Transportation Systems Management and Operations. The dashboards provide a monthly view of performance and conditions by NYSDOT Region. The contents and data supporting the dashboards are continually evolving and new features, capabilities and measures will be added over time based on feedback. New dashboard areas will also be added over time to cover other aspects of TSMO like weather, arterial management, and travel demand management.
There are four dashboards:
- Incidents - Visualizes all recorded incidents in a single month for a region, filterable by road class. Incident metrics are categorized into the three types; road hazards, crashes, and emergency operations. Referenced incidents can be clicked to navigate to the individual context page for that incidents.
- Work Zones - Visualizes all recorded work zones in a single month for a region, filterable by road class. Calculates the top 20 work zones by delay cost based on durations and vehicle delay. Referenced work zones can be clicked to navigate to the individual context page for that work zone.
- Congestion - Visualizes congestion a single month for a region, filterable by road class. Congestion is categorized into the two types; recurrent and non-recurrent. Referenced corridors can be clicked to navigate to an individual corridor page for additional analysis.
